Barry Morris Trading as BM Associates.
Working from home, arranging residential mortgages, remortgages, Buy to Let mortgages and Equity Release mortgages. We also arrange the optional (but important) protection policies that safeguard you and your family.
Being completely independent “Whole of Market”, Barry deals with all lenders authorised to lend in the UK including banks, building societies and central finance lenders.
We act for you not the lender, so our role is to find you the best mortgage to fit your circumstances.
Barry Morris:
I have been in the industry since 1974. I began my working life with Lloyds bank before moving on to the Prudential. I trained in all aspects of financial services, and I now specialise in mortgages and mortgage protection. In 1984 I started my own business and became a sole trader in 2001.
I live in Brighton with my wife Sharon and son David (and Golden Retriever Molly). I enjoy golf, walking the dog, holidays, good food and wine and good conversation!
I suffered throat cancer in 2012 and the surgeon had to remove all my vocal chords to cut out the cancer. So, I now speak through a voice valve located in my neck which you can see in the photograph. Don’t be surprised if my voice sounds croaky. Some say I sound like a Dalek nowadays!
Qualifications: Financial Planning Certificate, Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice, Certificate in Lifetime Mortgages.
